Treating Yeast Infections With Probiotics

Here’s an amazing Friday trick for those of you who suffer those annoying, frustrating, and potentially chronic yeast infections!

In my opinion, yeast infections are one of the most annoying things to deal with. It’s so nice when you can treat it with a natural method, too. When I went to school, one of my classmates was a nun and had done missionary work in Africa, where they did not have access to Monistat or Diflucan. To combat yeast infections, they would soak a tampon in yogurt and insert that vaginally. It was very effective!

There’s an even neater way to use your probiotics to treat a yeast infection if you have one. Take three or four probiotics capsules, empty them out and mix them with clean water to form a paste. Soak a tampon in that. Insert vaginally and change it once in the morning and once before you go to bed, for 3 to 4 days. It’s a great way to treat yeast without medication, and by adding probiotics in, you’ll be helping improve the good bacteria in your vaginal tract and hopefully get less yeast infections in the future!
